2D_POLY_FROM X,Y

SET THE CURRENT POSITION (X,Y) TO DRAW A LINE OR A POLYLINE

ACTION

The command 2D_POLY_FROM X,Y set on the "2D target" system object (set by 2D_TARGET_IS), the current position (X,Y) of the drawing.

X and Y are expressed in pixels and the origin (0,0) of the coordinates is the upper left corner of the system object.

Remark: A further command 2D_POLY_TO X1,Y1 will then draw a line from current point (X,Y) to point (X1,Y1).

To draw a polyline (line with multiple segments), simply chain the commands 2D_POLY_TO Xn,Yn

By default, the "2D target" system object is : FORM number 0.

SYNTAX: 2D_POLY_FROM X,Y

  • X = X-component value (integer or real) of the point.
  • Y = Y-component value (integer or real) of the point.

USE

  • The command 2D_POLY_FROM is used to change the current position of the drawing.

ERROR

  • If X or Y is not a correct expression.

EXAMPLE

rem draw a line from point (10,20)

2d_poly_from 10,20

rem to point (110,120)

2d_poly_to 110,120
