SET THE HINT TEXT T OF THE SYSTEM OBJECT NUMBER N

ACTION

The command HINT N,T set the hint T (yellow explaining text of 1 line) of the system object designated by its number N.

SYNTAX: HINT N,T

  • N = system object number (integer or real). Must be greater than 0 and less than or equal to the allowed maximum number of system objects.
  • T = text (string) to be displayed when the mouse cursor stays on a system object.

USE

  • The command HINT is used to display a small text (an explanation, a role, a definition, ...) when the mouse cursor stays on a system object.

ERROR

  • If number N is not a correct expression.
  • If number N exceeds the allowed maximum number of system objects.
  • If number N is less than 0.
  • If system object number N does not exist.
  • If the object number N is of type : MAIN_MENU, SUB_MENU, SOUND, OPEN_DIALOG, SAVE_DIALOG, DLIST, TIMER, MAIN_MENU_POP, OPEN_DIALOG_PIC, SAVE_DIALOG_PIC, SERIAL, IMAGE.
  • If text T is not a correct expression.

EXAMPLE
