SENDS A STRING THROUGH THE SERIAL LINK NUMBER N

ACTION

The command SERIAL_WRITE N,V sends the string V through the serial link number N.

SYNTAX: SERIAL_WRITE N,V

  • N = system object number (integer or real). Must be greater than 0 and less than or equal to the allowed maximum number of system objects.
  • V = string expression.

USE

  • The command SERIAL_WRITE is used to send a string through a serial link.

ERROR

  • If number N is not a correct expression.
  • If number N exceeds the allowed maximum number of system objects.
  • If number N is less than 0.
  • If system object number N does not exist.
  • If V is not a correct expression.
