SCROLL_BAR

SCROLL_BAR N

CREATES A SYSTEM OBJECT SCROLL_BAR AND ALLOCATES IT NUMBER N AS REFERENCE

  • Type: Command
  • Parameter: 1
  • Group: System Objects Creation

ACTION

The command creates a system object SCROLL_BAR, and allocates it a number N. The number N will be used to designate the SCROLL_BAR.

The created SCROLL_BAR can then be used through the appropriated commands.

The SCROLL_BAR is created at position (0,0) : that is TOP = 0 pixel and LEFT = 0 pixel, with dimensions WIDTH = 121 pixels and HEIGHT = 17 pixels.

A SCROLL_BAR is a slider which moves a value by increments through a range of values. The slider can be positioned by the command POSITION N,P and its position can be read by the function POSITION(N).

A SCROLL_BAR can generate the event : ON_CHANGE.

Remark: by default, the SCROLL_BAR is created on the FORM number 0, but another FORM can be used. For that, create a FORM by FORM N, and send it all the commands by COMMAND_TARGET_IS N before creating the SCROLL_BAR.
